Dani, was our first imported miny. We were really successful in shows that time, our dogs were appreciated and admired, but we were interested in those new styled dogs arriving from USA. We had good sized dogs, with very short backs, with exceptional coats, but we wanted to insert the heads with the expression and the long beard of the American lines. |
| Being scared by some faults like over-size or hereditary eyes diseases, common that time in American lines, we decided to search a schnauzer in Denmark, country where importing from USA was very usual, but where all tests were required to become champion. We met, with the help of Nils and Bodil Jordal - Klondaike kennel - this magnificent female, daughter of two very important dogs. Great winner in showrings, Dani was mated only two times, but her sons are now in all our pedigrees. [05/07/2003 Nichi] |
